A earthquake had been recorded 8,9 in strength, and it was building up to an enormous Tsunami.

The Tsunami was going to hit Japan 8.00 a.m. Central time. Now the countdown had begun.

The earthquake was so strong it was expecting to hit the U.S. west coast line just some hours later. Including Hawaii 10.00 a.m.

No major damage was made in Hawaii or west coast, just one person dead and boats upside down.

But in Japan, the death toll are keeping raising. Over 5.1 million houses are out of power, and the search for survivors are becoming a race between time.

The month February have gone fast, and it is just one day left. And that means it is just 2 weeks and 2 days to CALIFORNIA!

Today is Oscar night, the film festival where the best of the best will be getting an Oscar Statute. And I can say that, that is my dream to win one of those! It is going to be hard, but an interesting travel.

Yesterday I was walking among the magazines in the store, and saw (of course) Justin Bieber on some front pages. But what really stood out to me was that he was on the cover on The Rolling Stones Magazine. Neh, not an big deal.. BUT LOOK AT HIS HAIR! HE STOLE MY HAIR I TELL YOU! He just chose his brown color, instead of blond. He could at least Facebook´ed or Tweet´ed me, but thats cool.

So, not much have been happening lately. Went to the Twin Cities on friday to see Kathryn ( my host sister ) run in St. Olaf. That was fun, stopped at a Mall in Minnetonka and was looking around for like an hour. Me an Elliot ( my host brother ) went to HotTopic, and I freaking love that store!

I bought two wristbands where it says, ?Panic! At the disco? and ?Stay brutal?.

I have a lot of random articles don´t I? : )

So yeah.... snow...

We ( Ivar, Tobi and I ) were planing on going to Mall Of America, but no...

thats all I have to say, SNOW!

Yesterday, friday 11, was the premier of Justin Bieber never say never movie!

Anders, Trophy and I went to see the movie at its second viewing that evening. It was around 90 girls and 10 boys in the cinema. That was really fun!

The movie itself was really good! The movie was based on the last 10days before Madison square garden concert in NY, and with some clips from his childhood and family.

I don´t know how to explain the whole movie in a short paragraph but that was basic what the move was about.

Of course, me and Anders was singing during the whole movie and screaming with the ?other? girls, while Trophy was mostly giving us strange looks haha!

I have NEVER EVER heard so many girls screaming at once! And I am not talking about the girls in the movie...

Before the movie started it was screaming ?JUSTIN BIEBER! And ?WHO HAVE BIEBER-FEVER?!?!?!?!?!??. But it was really fun! : )

And I become an pedofile...

Friday the 11. it is Bieber time!

Justin Bieber Never say Never hit the cinemas ! And ofcourse I am going! Anders and I are going to watch the movie in willmar on friday ( tom. ) and hopefully get tickets before the crazy 14 year-old!

Why?

I can not say I have Bieber-fever, but I defenetly don´t hate him at all!

I think it AMZAING how you can be such an celeberty just with posting some vieos of yourself singing on one ramdom website and if you are lucky you might get a couple of thousand hits. But this young guy, just 14 at the time, showed the whole world that it is hope for all!

And I don´t understand why people, spacial boys, are hating on him. If you don´t like one person or that persons work, then don´t mind that person. That person is also an normal human who just have a lot of fans who support him and actually do more for him than the haters ever will do for somebody else.

That was my little thing there.. : )

I want to see the movie to see how much effect the web have one people today. IT IS CRAZY!

Yesterday was Super bowl 2011 in North Texas, and Packers won! : D

the funniest thing was not the game itself but the commercials between and halftime show!

Why? Because Black Eyed Peace was preforming! They are just amazing awesome cool band! : D

The day is finally here, the day Americans have been waiting for the whole season ! SUPER BOWL 2011!

What is super bowl?

Super bowl are the final game between two football ( American fooball ) who have been the best teams during the seasong.

Why is it so big?

It is football... ; )

Commercials:

Many people just watch Super Bowl because of the commercials, why? Because the company have been spending so much money making the commercial who is being aired during the most viewed event this year. To just have 30 seconds during the commercial break, you have to pay $3,000,000 dollars ( 17,400,000 NOK ). The biggest company who are going to rock the breaks are the car company Chevrolet. They have spent almost $9,000,000 dollars ( 52,000,000 NOK ) just to make and produce the commercials they are going to air during their total of 2 minutes in the Super Bowl.

Also one another big company are BestBuy who are going to use Justin Bieber and Ozzy Osbourne in theirs.

I will also be going to an super bowl party with my host family to some friends of them and meat some other people! That will be fun : )

Why do I blog?

I blog because, I want to describe my life as an exchange student in Minnesota. While you are reading, you will find out that it is a lot happening here. I am trying to blog every-other day, but sometimes that does not work out. Sometimes I will also post videos or pictures insted of writing so much, and that is simply because I don´t have time to write.

Oh my God!

Today was the coldest day of my life!

Me and most of the other Exchange student was participating to support the special Olympics 2011. We did that by jumping in the frozen lake... It was cold...

Other than us, it was over 350 people and they raised over $16,000 dollars during the day! That is a lot of money : D

We was ready to jump, and when I hit the water who was bellow zero celsius ( 32F ) I got an shock I will never forget. You whole body begin to like work on it own and stiff at the same time. It was crazy! Just crazy!

Shingo wanted to jump naked but that was not allowed. And we all had the t-shirts, that I designed, on.

After we got dressed and stuff like that, we got to the car and drowe to Panda Garden to eat China food ; )

This weekend = one word : AWESOME

If you don´t know, this weekend 112 exchange students + ca 20 IEC´s and RC´s went to Mankato.

After school on friday, we left from CC and two hours driving to we finally come to Mankato!

The first day we just went in the pool and the Hot Tub! It was amzing!! Shingo found out that hot tub was heven, American heven.

The pool, where LUCY pushed me under water -.- and the HotTub! <3

I was sharing room with Shingo, Ivar and one dude from Spain (?). He was watching tennis and was talking on his phone ( in Spanish ) untill like ... 2am... You might say I had some problems with sleeping that night.

Saturday, we all went out sking ! DOWNHILL aka Slalom! <3 Finally Filip was in his right enviorment! : D

Was trying to teach Zazu from Mexico to ski... yeah.. did not work out haha! :D

I went down the hill some times by myself and I had not forgotten it ! : D <3

Was skiing from 10 to 12, Lunch. Anders ( Denmark ) Lucy, Marit ( Nittedal ), Daria ( Tyskland ), Tobias (Tyskland) and I went to THA BACK SIDE. It was "black" trails.. Compare to Norway (or any place in the world), I would not call that black trails.. haha. The black one was like 500-900 meter long and not steep at all!

...so I went down backwards a couple of times : ) It was fun! People was looking at me, from the lifts, and saying" WOW look at him! Backwards!" haha! Fun1 FUN! FUN!!

It was another hill there, who was 80 degrees in angel down, where it said " Experts ONLY!" OFCOURSE I had to try! So officaly, I am an expert in Mankato : D!

Was also trying the jumps there Small jumps, but big enough for me. Did one, fell and lost my one ski on the second and almost fell on the third one : )

Today, Lucy and I went to church at 9.30 AM to see Nick´s last preformans there. It was realy nice, different from the chruch I am usually going to : )

Now, I am sitting home alone with my Monster and watching MTV i think.. I don´t know -.- Just had lunch, turkey burger with way to much spice! That is what happens whe I am trying to make food for myself, trying different spices ... Not good.

Soon me an Lucy, will go to Willmar and meat Anders ( Denmark ) and go BOWLING ! ! ! ! That is the most amazing "sport" in the world, exept GOLF! : D

We went  down and he pushed the button, while I said where he was going to sit and how he was suppose to hold the camera haha. Was pretty fun! Took like ... 150 pics and we can use maybe 20 of them haha!

If today is tomorrow, would today be yesterday?

Yesterday, Lucy and I, went to the YMCA in Willmar (wooow) and went swimming : )

She is FAST! She was doing water polo back in Germany so... yeah (-.-), and I am not the best swimmer ever either so..

I went half way, while she was on her way back hehe. It was very fun though : D

It was a lot of fun, we also went to McDonald´s DRIVE TRUE! (that is realy importatnt, drive true.. : ) ) and I got Nugets and Frppachino ! : D ( <3 )

After this, we ( me, Lucy, Shingo and ppl ) over to Nick´s house to eat dinner ! It was Chinese food <3!

S-H-I-N-G-O brougth some chopsticks, and I got some special one hehe. He said:

"Filip, here you go. I have special one for you!" Me, "Ok?". "They are short!" HAHAHA,That was so funny!

Oh well, just another random day with friends and people! : D

Dear ppl of blogg reading online community... ( what? )

Today was a great day, like all the days here in America. But what really mabe my day was...:

Third hour class, I got the present I will never forget! It was a late christmas present from two of mye friend.                From Kim ( germany ) and Jorun ( Norge ),

I was sitting in art and Jorun said she had my present, so I walked over to her. She gave me their gift and gave me "the smile". I said thank you, and went happy back to my seat.

I kind of ripped up the paper so I could se what it was. I could feel it was a book, but had no idea which one it could be. Because I did not wish for any special book.

Nicely I ripped the paper and took a quic look. All I saw was : Some hais and half of the upper face and one eye.

I began to laugh! Lucy ( Germany ) and Nick ( Italy ) looked over at me and thought I was silly ( as always ).

They asked "what is it?"

I showed them what I just saw of the cover, and they was like " HAHA! No wasy!" and "No...!".
